“EQUATION” shares similarities with The Manchurian Candidate (2004) Memento (2000) and David Fincher’s SE7EN (1995).
Caitlyn Colburn is a caring housewife and mother of two. Isaiah Carpenter is a mild-mannered Catholic doctor. Then we have Harold Mansfield, a well renowned scientist working in a world-class pharmaceutical company.
So now we have, three complete strangers, seemingly unconnected. That is, until each of them commits something totally out of character, the unspeakable crime of murder in the first degree.
The only thing that links these bizarre occurrences is part of a mathematical formula left at each crime scene. What is the equation? Is it, a cult, psychotic delusions or something much more sinister?
Detective Jaydon Lynch, is man on the edge, a man consumed by pain, rage and loss, a man who needs to find a way out. He needs to solve this puzzle.
The further down the rabbit hole Jaydon dwells. The closer he comes to unravelling an earth-shattering discovery. THE SOLUTION to this enigma might just be himself…
